Debbie's Big Day

Debbie’s Big Day

Little Debbie Maska was so excited to finally be five. Her birthday was tomorrow and she wanted to have a princess themed party. Being a princess herself everything at her party had to be just the way she wanted. Debbie told her mother she wanted every princess to be at her party, from Jasmine to Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle.

Debbie and her mother had many things to do before the party the next day. One of Debbie’s biggest problems was what princess she should be for her party. Her two favorite princesses’ were Belle and Arial. She loved Belle because of her beautiful gold dress, but she loved that Arial was a mermaid.  Debbie’s mother took her to the costume store and tried on both outfits. She decided to go with Belle because her dress was the prettiest thing she had ever seen.

Now that Debbie’s outfit was all picked out it was time for them to head to the bakery. Debbie’s mom ordered a pink cake with a crown fit for a princess on top. Debbie loved her cake; it was exactly what she wanted. Everything was falling into place; her party was going to be perfect.

After a night of no sleep because she was so excited for her party to get here it was finally the day. Debbie brushed her hair, put her Belle dress on, her mom even let her put eye shadow on, and slipped into her princess sandals she was ready for the party to begin. Her mom had put streamers all over the house and pink and white confetti all over the floors and tables. All of Debbie’s friends arrived and they opened cake and presents and spent the afternoon laughing and play with Debbie’s new princess dolls she got.

At the end of the day Debbie was laying with her mom on the couch taking in how great her day was. She then said “I can’t wait for next year’s party. I am going to make it even better.”

  1. Sounds like quite a day for a little princess! Was this inspired by a party you had (or always wanted to have) when you were little?
