Children's Storybook

Dr. Seuss

Characters: Grinch, Max the dog, Cindy-Lou Who

Setting: The setting of this book is in the town of Who-Ville, a place where all Who’s live happily together, and then also the cave where the Grinch lives.

Summary: The Grinch hates Christmas and the Who people. He decides the Who’s cant celebrate Christmas if he takes all of their Christmas decorations out of all the houses and around town. After successfully taking all the Christmas decorations back to his cave he expects all the Who’s to be sad once they wake up Christmas morning, but instead he hears the town break out in song. The Grinch then realizes that the town doesn’t need material things to make their Christmas. After hearing their cheer his heart then grows three times bigger and he brings all the gifts back to the Who’s.
