I am

I am…
I am…
The oldest of three, born into a small town, a city girl, and wanting to be the perfect daughter.
An older sibling to a brother and sister, a motherly figure, and a spoiled brat.
Eating Vernies in Hays, Kansas with my nana and papa, going to get sno balls at the local gas station, eating Taco Shop every day for lunch, and spending time with all my little cousins.
Panera broccoli and cheddar soup, oatmeal raisin cookies, and sprite.
Nike shorts, wedges, hoodies, and t-shirts.
A good book on a rainy day, track medals, and an obsession with tennis shoes.
Waking up early so I can get my day started, running in the mornings, and making breakfast.
Cuddling up to my boyfriend for lazy movie days, old movies, talking throughout the movie, and falling asleep before the ending.
Dark brown eyes, brown hair, my dad’s height, and tanned skin.
Ugg boots, leggings, and a comfy jacket.
Finally 16 this year.
Looking forward to starting my life in college and hoping for a family in my future.
A pea lover, not a fan of bananas or shrimp, and always drinking bottled water
Cranky when I do not get my way, a book worm, and very sassy.
A person with a big heart, a good friend, trust worthy, loyal, and always there for a friend in need.
A orange and blue blanket, a number one fan for a Hillcrest football player, girlfriend to Stanley Murphy, that person in the crowd yelling their hardest when their boyfriend makes a touchdown or a tackle.

  1. Mr. Stanley Murphy is lucky to have such a sweet, smart and lovely girl like you to cheer for him (and fall asleep to movies with!). Your memories of spending time in Hays with your grandparents and cousins reminds me so much of spending time in Muskogee with mine when I was growing up. Cherish that--we don't get together nearly as much now that we're all adults. Thanks for creating your blog. I look forward to reading more of your thoughts.
